Haryana’s Deputy Chief Minister Dushyant Chautala on Sunday said that the state government will set up warehouses with a capacity of seven lakh metric tonnes during the next one year. These warehouses will be constructed on the lines of private warehouses through the panchayats.

The Deputy Chief Minister was addressing the problems of the people at his residence in Sirsa on Sunday. He directed the concerned officials present on the spot to redress the problems. He said that agricultural ordinances will prove beneficial for farmers and the agriculture sector. So far, this year double the amount of paddy has reached the mandis as compared to last year. Farmers have not been facing any problem while selling their produce. The state government has been working with strong determination towards strengthening the Panchayati Raj institutions, he added.

While congratulating the people on the occasion of Dussehra, the Deputy Chief Minister said that the festival of Vijayadashami gives us the message of achieving our goal with hope, enthusiasm and energy. This festival symbolises the victory of good over evil, and truth over falsehood. He said that the coalition government in Haryana has not only taken historic decisions to upgrade the system in the interest of people, but has also provided benefits to them by implementing various government schemes at the grass-roots level.
