Several videos have surfaced on social media showing the discontent of BJP leaders who were not selected to contest in the upcoming Haryana Assembly elections.

In one video, Karan Dev Kamboj, Haryana OBC Morcha leader and former minister, is seen refusing to shake hands with Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini during a meeting. Kamboj, reportedly upset over his exclusion from the candidate list, walks past Saini with folded hands and avoids shaking hands, despite Saini’s attempt to engage him. Kamboj then takes a seat next to the chief minister but avoids making eye contact. He also resigned as the state BJP’s OBC Morcha chief, expressing disappointment that the party seems to favor recent members over long-time loyalists.

Another video shows senior BJP leader Kavita Jain in tears during a meeting in Sonipat. Jain, whose name was also omitted from the candidate list, lamented the lack of recognition for her five years of hard work for the party. She shared her personal sacrifice, stating, “I have not seen my daughter, who lives at a hostel, for two years. I had told her not to come before the elections.” Jain expressed her sadness over the party’s decision, stating, “We’re not upset about the party’s actions but we are sad about our dedication and 50 years of service to the party.”

In a separate video, BJP MLA Shashi Ranjan Parmar was visibly emotional after being informed that his name was excluded from the candidate list. Parmar, who was seeking a BJP nomination from Bhiwani and Tosham, broke down, saying, “I had thought that my name would be on the list… What do I do now? I am helpless.” Despite attempts by the interviewer to offer reassurance, Parmar continued to cry, feeling betrayed by the party.
