HARYANA GOVT TEAM REACHES GOLDEN TEMPLE TO FETCH HOLY WATER FROM SAROVAR

Ahead of the state-level 400th Prakash Purab celebrations of Hindi Ki Chadar-Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji to be held in Panipat on April 24, a team of Haryana government, led by Sports and Youth Affairs Minister Sandeep Singh, reached the Golden Temple to bring the holy water from the Sarovar on Monday.

The team members paid obeisance at the Golden Temple before giving the programme invitation at Sri Darbar Sahib. Sandeep Singh said that on April 24, the 400th Prakash Purab of Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji would be celebrated in a grand manner in Panipat.

“We feel fortunate as we got a chance to bring this holy water to Haryana. Under the leadership of Chief Minister Manohar Lal, the state government has been celebrating the birth and death anniversary of the Gurus of all religions in a grand manner and now the 400th Prakash Purab of Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji is being celebrated,” said Singh.

He further informed that Manohar Lal would also send an invitation to Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann. Saints and Mahatmas are actively participating in this religious programme.

Karnal MP Sanjay Bhatia said to ensure that the coming generations get inspired by the sacrifices made by great gurus, maximum participation should be ensured by the devotees. An exhibition related to the history of Gurus will also be organised during the programme, said Bhatia.

The Ragi Bhai Chamanjit Singh Ji Lal, Bhai Balwinder Singh Rangila Ji, Bhai Davinder Singh Sodhi Ji, Bhai Gagandeep Singh from Sri Ganganagar will perform in the programme. Dhadi Jatha Nirmal Singh Noor Ji will also mesmerise the devotees with Amritmayi Kirtan, Gurumat discourses and Guru History.

An arrangement for running round-the-clock ‘Guru ka langar’ has been made with adequate seating arrangement in around more than 60 acres of open space. The preparations for this have almost been completed. Sant Samaj and other organisations are working continuously on this.
