CHANDIGARH: Haryana Deputy Chief Minister Dushyant Chautala said that the state government is committed to formulate policies that attract investors to set up more industries in the state. Chautala, who also holds the portfolio of the Industries and Commerce Department, said this while presiding over review meeting regarding “Haryana Enterprises Promotion Policy-2020” with senior officers of the Department.
The Deputy CM was apprised that the department had written to associations of industrialists seeking their suggestions for the drafting of the new “Haryana Enterprises Promotion Policy-2020”. He said that he would personally visit several districts and consult with the associations of industrialists to seek suggestions regarding other facilities that could be provided by the state government to them so that their industries can flourish and more employment could be generated for the youth of the state. He also directed the officers to write to industrial associations like Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) and the Associated Chambers of Commerce and Industry of India (ASSOCHAM) and seek their suggestions regarding the policy.
