Haryana Election Results 2024 Seat Wise: Full List of Winners

Bhupinder Hooda faced allegations related to land acquisition scandals during his tenure, casting a shadow over his political career.

BJP supporters celebrate the party's win in Haryana Assembly elections

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is on the verge of forming its third consecutive government in Haryana as the trends show the party leading in a majority of the state’s constituencies.

BJP’s Dominance in Haryana
The BJP, under an intensive campaign led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, managed to secure substantial non-Jaat, non-Muslim, and Other Backward Class (OBC) votes, helping the party dominate in several key areas.

Haryana CM Nayab Singh Saini Wins Ladwa
Nayab Singh Saini, the Chief Minister of Haryana, secured his seat in Ladwa. Other important BJP candidates, including Mukesh Sharma and Moolchand Sharma, are also leading in their respective constituencies.

BJP’s Remarkable Comeback
Despite initial exit polls that showed the BJP trailing by a significant margin, the party staged a remarkable comeback. At the time of this report, the BJP is leading in 50 seats in the 90-member Haryana assembly, while the Congress is ahead in 35 seats.

Decline of JJP and Dushyant Chautala
Once a major political player, Dushyant Singh Chautala, the great-grandson of former Deputy Prime Minister Devi Lal and founder of the Jannayak Janta Party (JJP), is struggling. Chautala trailed from his Uchan Kalan seat, and many JJP candidates are also lagging behind. The JJP, in alliance with Chandrashekhar Azad’s Azad Samaj Party (ASP-Kanshi Ram), contested 70 seats, while ASP fought in 20 seats. However, the alliance has not fared well in this election.

Bhupinder Hooda and Vinesh Phogat Shine
Former Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda, a prominent Congress leader, has successfully retained his stronghold, winning the Garhi Sampla-Kiloi constituency by an impressive margin of 71,465 votes. In a notable debut, wrestler-turned-politician Vinesh Phogat, who contested her first election from Julana, also emerged victorious.

Independent Candidates Make Their Mark
Former BJP members Savitri Jindal and Devender Kadyan, who quit the party weeks before the elections to run as Independents, managed to win their respective seats. Savitri Jindal, the richest woman in India, won the Hisar constituency, while Devender Kadyan secured a win in Ganaur.
