On Sunday, a Mahapanchayat was held in Pondri village, Palwal district, Haryana, with restrictions placed by the local administration and police officials in light of recent occurrences of violence in Nuh district.
On Sunday, the Hindu Samaj called for the Mahapanchayat. Palwal Superintendent of Police Lokendra Singh, while talking to the media, said, “Permission for the (Mahapanchayat) has been granted on several conditions.”
“Hate speech is prohibited. Our team will keep an eye on each and every person, and action will be taken against them for any wrongdoing,” he further added. Further details in the matter are awaited.
