Indian Cricket Team’s all-rounder, Hardik Pandya, expressed his disappointment after being ruled out of India’s Cricket World Cup. In an official statement on his social media platform X, the 30-year-old shared the challenge of coming to terms with his absence from the remainder of the tournament. Despite this setback, Pandya assured his unwavering support for the team, pledging to cheer them on during every moment of the game.

Acknowledging the special bond within the ‘Men in Blue’ squad, Pandya exuded confidence in every player’s ability to bring pride to the nation at the World Cup. His message conveyed heartfelt gratitude for the overwhelming support and love received from fans.

Pandya sustained a left ankle injury during India’s victory against Bangladesh, leading to uncertainty regarding his future participation. Subsequently, his exclusion from the squad was confirmed, and fast bowler Prasidh Krishna was named as his replacement by the tournament’s Event Technical Committee.

India continues to showcase remarkable form in the ongoing ODI World Cup 2023, standing undefeated and leading the standings with 14 points under the captaincy of Rohit Sharma. The team is geared up for their next game against South Africa at Kolkata’s Eden Gardens on Sunday. The upcoming match holds significance in their quest for ICC World Cup glory.
