According to the Russian news agency TASS, the Belarusian Embassy in the Hague was attacked on Sunday by unidentified individuals.
“The incident occurred in the early hours on July 2,” the Belarusian Embassy said. TASS is a state-owned Russian News Agency founded in 1904.
The attackers also shattered glass and discolored the façade, according to the embassy, as reported by TASS. Meanwhile, the Belarusian Embassy reported that the perpetrators had been apprehended by Dutch police.
The attackers threw stones at the embassy building and shattered many windows, according to the Dutch network. They also scribbled numerous messages on the building’s walls, including one accusing Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko of terrorism.
