Former AAP district president Gurtej Pannu and SAD’s Ramandeep Bawa released audio clips of an advocate and Bhagwant Mann performing horse-trading to get the majority in the recent Chandigarh Municipal Corporation elections.

“AAP tried to buy Akali Dal councillor in Chandigarh Municipal Corporation elections but failed in their attempt. AAP office-bearers gathered money from AAP’s Mohali candidate Kulwant Singh,” said Bawa.

Bawa also released an audio of AAP office bearers offering money. “The nexus of AAP has been exposed through this audio. They tried their best to buy elected councillors by offering crores in the mayoral elections of the Chandigarh Municipal Corporation. Their planning on the process of buying councillors, how much money offered and which parties’ councillors were contacted is clear from the audio,” said Bawa.

He further said, “AAP leaders including, Harmohan Dhawan, Pradeep Chhabra, and Chandramukhi, were also involved. It was clearly said in the audio that the AAP did not ally with the Congress in the Chandigarh Municipal Corporation elections as it would have a bad effect in the Punjab elections.”

Gurtej Singh Pannu while talking to The Daily Guardian said: “It can very well be heard in the audio that how AAP top leadership here in Chandigarh and Delhi gave free tickets to women members and also had blackmailed them after recording their personal moments.”

Pannu also shared an AV of Bhagwant Mann and said the AAP CM candidate promised to stand by him.

Pannu had asked Mann to cancel tickets of Ferozpur and Amargarh candidates as they had bought tickets from AAP. Pannu also alleged that Aam Aadmi Party asked him to pay Rs 6 crore for the ticket, which he refused.

Pannu claimed that Ashu Bangar and Saurabh Jain were also asked to pay for the ticket.
