On Thursday night at around 11:45 pm, four armed men opened fire outside the Kaanch nightclub in Delhi’s Seemapuri, forcing its bouncers, including a woman, to kneel. The incident, captured on CCTV, occurred in the Jhilmil Industrial Area.

The footage shows the attackers arriving fully armed. While three of them entered the nightclub, one stayed outside to threaten and force the bouncers to kneel. A few minutes later, two of the assailants fired rounds into the air before fleeing the scene, discharging more than a dozen bullets, as reported by India Today. Eyewitnesses noted that the female bouncer was held at gunpoint with a gun pressed against her head.

Initial investigations suggest that the attack may have been motivated by the club’s refusal to pay extortion money. However, Navbharat Times and The Times of India report that the incident occurred after the attackers were denied free entry earlier in the night.

The attackers have been identified as Tanish alias Pehelwan and Shahrukh, while the bouncers involved were Umar and Amil. Delhi Police have filed a case under the Arms Act and are conducting a manhunt to apprehend the suspects.
