The counting of the votes in Gujarat has begun at 8 am for 182 Assembly seats for each constituency in Gujarat in which BJP gained the majority.

The Bharatiya Janta Party (BJP) leads in 156 seats, Congress in 17 seats, Aam Aadmi Party in 5 seats, and Others in 3 seats.

BJP has set a history by winning the Gujarat elections and on that occasion, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will reach BJP headquarters at 6 pm and address BJP workers. BJP National President JP Nadda will reach BJP Headquarters at 3 pm and the BJP Parliamentary Board meeting will be held at 7 pm at BJP Headquarters.

After a seesaw battle between former Gujarat Pradesh Congress Committee chief Amit Chavda and BJP’s Gulabsinh Padhiyar, Amit Chavda has won the Anklav assembly seat in Anand district. Vipul Patel, Anand district BJP chief wins from Sojitra assembly seat.

Meanwhile, Gujarat chief minister Bhupendra Patel is leading from Ghatlodiya by more than 20,000 votes against Congress’ Dr. Amee Yajnik. Bharatiya Janata Party’s Rivaba, wife of Ravindra Jadeja, is leading from Jamnagar North seat. BJP’s Hardik Patel is leading from Viramgram with a margin of 61,019 votes and Alpesh Thakur is leading from South Gujarat with a margin of 3,270 votes. BJP candidate from Morbi, Kantilal Amrutia leads with a total of 10,156 votes. BJP is leading from Gir Somnath seat.

BJP’s CK Raulji is leading against AAP’s Rajesh Patel Raju and Rashmitaben Dushyantsinh Chauhan of Congress. Jitendra Vaghani is leading from Bhavnagar West and Kantilal Arutiya leads from Morbi assembly constituency. Dharmendrasinh Vaghela who was BJP rebel leading over party’s nominee Ashvin Patel in Vaghodia assembly seat.

Talking about Aam Aadmi Party, according to the latest trend AAP’s CM face Ishudan Gadhvi is leading from the Khambhalia seat.

AIMIM’s Sakil Mahamad Sama is leading from Buujgainst Congress’ Arjanbhai Bhudia, BJP leader Keshavlal Patel and AAP candidate Rajesh Pandoriya.

Congress once again failed to impress voters despite doing Bharat Jodo Yatra. Congress’s Jignesh Mevani is trailing from Vadnagar.

With exit poll predictions of a return of the Bharatiya Janata Party in Gujarat, the ruling party is expected to break all records.

Moreover, preparations for the celebration at the BJP headquarters have started since morning. Laddoos are being made at the BJP headquarters and 100 kilos of flowers have also reached the party headquarters.

However, the Assembly election in Gujarat was held on 1 December and 5 December in two phases.

Furthermore, for 27 years BJP party has been in power and Narendra Modi is the longest-serving chief minister of the state. In 2017 BJP won 99 seats out of 182 seats.
