Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel is set to arrive in Nadiad on the afternoon of Wednesday, August 14, to oversee Independence Day eve events. He will start his visit by paying tribute at the birthplace of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, followed by visits to the Hindu Orphanage and Santram Temple in Nadiad.

Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel will also participate in the ‘At Home’ event in Nadiad on the eve of the 78th Independence Day, alongside Governor Acharya Devvratji. Additionally, CM Patel will officially open an arms exhibition organized by the Gujarat Police as part of the state’s Independence Day celebrations.

In the evening, Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel will take part in a cultural program and will virtually inaugurate and lay the foundation stone for several development projects valued at Rs 118 crore, in the presence of the Governor. On Thursday, August 15, 2024, at 8:58 AM, at SRP Ground in Nadiad, the Chief Minister will raise the national flag and give a public address to mark the 78th Independence Day.
