On the eve of MahaShivratri, the city of Jammu witnessed an impressive Shobha Yatra, known as Shiv Barat, organized by Shri Ranbireshwar Ji Mandir Welfare Committee (SRMWC) in collaboration with Jammu and Kashmir Dharmarth Trust and the enthusiastic participation of Jammu residents.

Led by Mahant Rishi Ban, Chairman of SRMWC, the Shobha Yatra commenced at Shri Ranbireshwar Ji Temple, weaving through the bustling streets of Old Jammu City. The procession passed through key areas, including Indira Chowk, Hari Market, Raghunath Ji Bazaar Chowk, Raghunath Ji Bazar, City Chowk, Old Hospital Road, Purani Mandi, Link Road, Jain Bazaar, Pacca Danga, Moti Bazaar, and Parade Chowk, concluding its journey back at Shri Ranbireshwar Ji Temple. Numerous social and religious organizations, such as Dewan Mandir Natak Samaj Mandli, Hudh Mata Trisandhya Committee Jammu Branch, Nat Manch, Akhil Bhartiya Dharam Prachar Sewa Samiti, Asaram Bapu Ashram Bhagwati Nagar, Jagdipak Sudesh Memorial Society Jain Bazar, TrinetraDhari Shiv Shamboo Seva Dal Parade, Best Item Group, Manish Musical Group, Shishu Kala Kendra Kanji House, actively participated in the Shobha Yatra, adding vibrant and colorful Jhankies to the procession.
The atmosphere was filled with devotional songs performed by artists from Deepak Band, creating a spiritual ambiance throughout the journey. Traders in Old Jammu City adorned their markets with gates, buntings, and lights to welcome the Shiv Barat. The district administration of Jammu ensured elaborate arrangements for the success of the Shobha Yatra.

Members of SRMWC, including Onkar Sharma (Nandi Ji), President Rajkumar Gupta, Sr. Vice President Amit Gupta, Advocates Jyoti Sarup Misra and Kapil Sharma, Mandeep Sharma, Anubhav Suri, Mohan Sharma, and others actively participated in the Shobha Yatra, contributing to the grandeur of the MahaShivratri celebration in Jammu.
