Sushant Singh Rajput and Rhea Chakraborty had travelled to France, Switzerland, Italy and Austria in October 2019. The Daily Guardian has accessed details of their Europe trip.

Rhea had been in New Delhi from 29 September to 1 October. From there she went to Mumbai on 2 October. Then, along with Sushant, she left for their Europe tour. The duo went to France first, where they stayed till 9 October. They went to Switzerland next, reaching on 9 October, but they returned to France on the 11th. Then they went back to Switzerland on the same day, and then stayed on in the country till 12 October.

It is still unclear why the two went back and forth between France and Switzerland twice. On 13 October, Rhea and Sushant travelled to Italy, and stayed there till the 21st. From Italy they went ahead to Austria, where they stayed till 27 October.

In a statement to the Enforcement Directorate, Rhea also alleged that Sushant had been visibly distressed by a painting he had seen during their stay in Italy. The painting in question is Francisco Goya’s “Saturn Devouring His Son”. The late actor was apparently “terrorized” by the artwork and had been found by Rhea chanting mantras with a rudraksh mala. According to Rhea’s statement, Sushant had said that he could see characters in the painting but was unable to describe them. Rhea also said that the actor could not be consoled and his health had deteriorated further, causing them to cut their trip short.

Sushant’s behaviour had changed further after their return and he used to scream, shout and weep, according to Rhea. He also took medical help but was not satisfied with anybody, which is why they had to change doctors, as per the statement.
