In view of the government’s commitment to providing transparent, hassle-free, corruption-free services to the residents of the state, Housing and Urban Development organised an exclusive and first camp of its kind and issued clearance certificates to 51 colonisers related to real estate. Housing and Urban Development Minister Hardeep Singh Mundian and Chief Secretary KAP Sinha handed over colony licences, completion certificates, partial completion certificates, letters of intent, zoning plans, building plans, promoter registration certificates and lay-out plans to 51 promoters/builders.
Mundian said that the state government organised such a special camp for the first time to settle the pending works of people related to real estate. The second such camp will be organised at the end of November. He said that the department is committed to settling the works of promoters/developers with transparency on a priority basis. He said that an e-mail id, transparency.hud@gmail.com, has been created for this purpose, on which any complaint can be made directly.
Mundian asked the promoters/developers to give full support to this initiative of the government and try to provide maximum and high-level facilities to the residents in the projects being developed. He calls all stakeholders for the all-round development of cities while contributing to making Rangla Punjab again.
Chief Secretary KAP Sinha said that the state government is very serious about the pendency of any work, due to which the certificates were given on the spot by setting up the camp after completing the pending work of the people related to real estate. This decision of the government will give a big boost to the welfare of the residents and the development of the cities as well as the economic development of the state. Continuing this initiative of the government, such camps will be set up to remove the pendency of the works of other departments.
