In Punjab, while travelling to Amritsar Governor Banwarilal Purohit’s convoy experienced a significant accident when one of the vehicles suddenly crashed.

The incident resulted in injuries to three security personnel, who were promptly taken to the hospital for treatment. Fortunately, their condition is stable, and they are recovering well. Governor Purohit emerged from the accident completely unharmed and resumed his scheduled tour shortly afterward.

The accident occurred as Governor Banwarilal Purohit’s convoy was traveling from Pathankot to Amritsar. Near Gharinda, a tire on one of the CRPF security vehicles burst unexpectedly, causing the vehicle to crash into the divider at high speed.

The collision was intense, resulting in significant damage to the front section of the car. Despite the severity of the accident, Governor Purohit continued with his itinerary after a brief delay.
