AAP Rajya Sabha MP Raghav Chadda came down heavily on the Central government saying that the unemployment rate is the highest in 25 years while the inflation is the worst in last 30 years. “The worse thing is that even the Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman herself does not know the real situation of the inflation and how bad it is”, the MP said.
Chadda also said that we all can remember the Finance Minister’s that infamous comments on onion.
“While the onion price was sky rocketing, the FM commented that she does not take onion.” Chadda sarcastically said that well, the Finance Minister you may not have onion, but you do take wheat, rice, vegtables.
“What you will talk about the soaring price of them?”
Chadda said the economic situation is bad, and it is not going anywhere. “The GDP rate is going down. The income of almost all have gone down. Where is the growth as it is being claimed?”
The AAP MP also commented on the Health Ministry dictate for Rahul Gandhi’s Bharat Jodo Yatra. He said the government has not put any restriction on marriage gatherings, or any other congregations. “Then why there is restriction only on political rallies?” he asked. However, at the same time, Chadda said that it is a matter between Congress and BJP.
Chadda congratulated the government for G20 Presidency saying that it is a matter of pride that India is organising such a programme.
