After two weeks of being unable to expand the cabinet in Rajasthan, even with the Bharatiya Janata Party’s (BJP) most powerful leadership in the state, questions are arising about the delay in the allocation of ministries in Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh. While Congress is already raising equal questions, the general public is also becoming a topic of significant discussion, wondering why a disciplined party is unable to make decisions. This is despite Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah deciding everything. In all three states, no leader dares to challenge the decisions of the central leadership. The BJP has not experienced dissent since 2014.
More than two days have passed since the cabinet expansion in Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh, but the situation regarding the allocation of ministries is unclear, directly affecting the functioning of the government. Rajasthan, however, is facing more confusion.
Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma has the most challenges in front of him. The state’s financial situation is already a cause for concern, and bringing corruption under control while improving law and order presents a significant challenge. Even officers are uncertain about what needs to be done.
As is the tradition, there is usually widespread change in the bureaucracy after a change in government. After that, officers are active. However, due to the delay in the cabinet expansion, the Sharma government is unable to work effectively.
Chief Minister Sharma is making efforts to control rising crime and ensure that the common people face no problems.
However, the delay in the cabinet expansion has slowed down the pace of work. It is the first time in the history of Rajasthan that record time has been taken for the formation of the cabinet.
