This week, the wedding of Karan Nathwani with Dweta had Mukesh and Nita Ambani in attendance. The wedding was held at Jio World Centre in Mumbai.
Karan is the son of Parimal Dhirajlal Nathwani, said to be one of the closest aides and advisors of Mukesh Ambani.
Nita Ambani sported a stunning saree in grey metallic and deep indigo blue silk. The saree was embroidered with intricate Indian embroidery in a floral-inspired motif.
She paired it with a contrasting deep indigo blue silk blouse. As accessories, she wore some statement pieces of her own: an exquisite multi-string diamond necklace with emerald centerpieces, together with matching diamond and emerald kadhas and round earrings.
And Mukesh Ambani did what he always does-gave the right complement to his wife in an all-black sleek attire, which means formal Indian attire according to one source.
A sweet video from the ceremony captured a beautiful moment between Nita Ambani and the newlyweds. As Chairperson of the Reliance Foundation, Nita Ambani looked ecstatic as she lovingly applied tilak on the foreheads of Karan and Dweta to bless them.
This was followed by Karan Nathwani bending down to touch her feet to seek her blessings in return, as a mark of deep respect between the two families.

Parimal Dhirajlal Nathwani is a well-known industrialist and politician, long-time confidant of the Ambani family. By profession, he holds the position of Director of Corporate Affairs at Reliance Industries Limited, popularly known as RIL.
He is also a Member of Parliament (Rajya Sabha). His proximity with the family began when he worked directly under the group's founder, Shri Dhirubhai Ambani, in the mid-1990s.
He was instrumental in the formation and functioning of RIL, especially when the latter faced obstacles in land acquisition for the world's largest oil refinery in Jamnagar, Gujarat.
This made him the face of Reliance in Gujarat and ensured his position as a close adviser. Later, he continued to work as a close aide and advisor to Mukesh Ambani, being an integral part of major RIL projects such as the roll-out of Reliance Jio and the group's retail platforms.
The attendance of Mukesh and Nita Ambani at his son's wedding and Nita Ambani's personal blessing brought forth strong and long-standing familial and professional ties between both families.
