Jurassic World: Rebirth box office gross: The Indian audience has delivered a thumping response to the new installment of the Jurassic World series. Universal Pictures India (distributed by Warner Bros. Discovery) Jurassic World Rebirth has started on a phenomenal note with a stupendous box office gross of ₹49.3 crores in the Indian opening weekend.
In addition to its stunning box office success, Jurassic World Rebirth captured the largest opening weekend for an MPA Title of 2025 (without sneaks). It had a better than expected run and moved up higher from the forecasted position of #2 largest opening weekend for an MPA Title of 2025 (with sneaks) behind Tom Cruise-starring Mission Impossible: The Final Reckoning.

At the same time, the studio approximated the film opening on Wednesday and making $147.3 million over its first five days in North America in 4,308 theaters. The film also opened in 82 markets such as China, boosting the opening figure to $171 million. Thus, the film has taken its worldwide, five-day launch of $318.3 million.
Starring Emmy and SAG-nominated Jonathan Bailey and two-time Oscar winner Mahershala Ali, and anchored by Emmy and SAG nominee Scarlett Johansson, this action-packed new installment follows an extraction team into the most perilous location on the planet, an island research station for the original Jurassic Park, home to the most unruly giants left behind.
Scarlett stars as talented covert ops specialist Zora Bennett, hired to command an elite team on a clandestine assignment to retrieve the genetic material. Mahershala co-stars as her teammate, Duncan Kincaid, and Jonathan co-stars as palaeontologist Dr Henry Loomis. The movie is directed by Gareth Edwards and scripted by David Koepp. Even though the movie premiered to varied reviews, it has gone on to discover a wide audience.
