Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt's new Bandra home becomes Mumbai's costliest celebrity residence

Their newly completed mansion has taken over the record with a whopping ₹250 crore valuation.
Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt have finally completed their multistorey home, which had been under construction for several years. The couple, along with their daughter Raha, will soon move in and make it their forever home. The new property rises on the very site of Raj Kapoor’s famous Krishna Raj bungalow, blending history with modern luxury. Reports confirm that the house cost ₹250 crore, making it the most expensive celebrity home in Mumbai. Ranbir’s mother, Neetu Kapoor, will also reside in the mansion, creating a family-oriented living space in Bandra.
Amitabh Bachchan’s Jalsa was once the most expensive celebrity property in Mumbai, valued at ₹120 crore. Later, Mannat took the top spot because of its prime location at Bandra Bandstand and its heritage value. About ten years ago, Mannat was valued at around ₹200 crore, but we don’t know its current price. Now, with Ranbir and Alia’s new home finally ready, it clearly beats both Mannat and Jalsa, becoming the most expensive celebrity house in Mumbai.
Despite being the costliest in Mumbai, Ranbir and Alia’s mansion still falls short of the highest-valued actor-owned property in India and that title goes to the ₹800-crore Pataudi Palace in Haryana, the ancestral residence of the Nawab of Pataudi. This property currently belongs to Saif Ali Khan and his family, showing that Mumbai’s real estate prices, while high, still trail behind some historic estates in other states.
