Saiyaara Hits ₹250 Crore in 7 Days, Surpasses Raid 2 Lifetime Collection Worldwide

Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda's Saiyaara can keep gallivanting at the global box office unabated. Director Mohit Suri's return to the romantic genre has indeed left audiences across the globe smitten, generating much buzz and overwhelming responses on social media. Saiyaara has now reached ₹250 crore within a week and consolidated itself as a surefire blockbuster of this year.

Saiyaara Crosses ₹256 Crore Worldwide in One Week

Saiyaara is produced by Yash Raj Films. On their official Instagram page, they posted the recent global box office report of the movie, which read that Saiyaara has grossed ₹256 crore. Its Indian gross collection now reaches ₹212.5 crore. Saiyaara has also made slightly more than $5 million abroad (approximately ₹43 crore), lifting its global tally to ₹256 crore.

Saiyaara Beats Raid 2, Eyes Bigger Box Office Milestones

Saiyaara has now surpassed the lifetime collection of Ajay Devgn's Raid 2, which is ₹237 crores. Saiyaara should remain steady in the second weekend, and now aims to surpass the collections of Sitaara Zameen Par ( ₹264 crores), and Housefull 5 ( ₹289 crores). It will then stand as the second highest grosser, next only to Chhaava ( ₹808 crores). Saiyaara is produced on a budget of ₹50 crore.

Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda Shine in Romantic Saga

Saiyaara tells the romance that blossoms between a budding musician Krish Kapoor (Ahaan) and a timid journalist Vaani Batra (Aneet Padda). She encourages him to pursue his aspirations even while a surprise discovery jeopardizes their relationship.

Saiyaara has been appreciated for its performances as well as the music. The music of the film has been composed by Mithoon, Sachet-Parampara, Rishabh Kant, Vishal Mishra, Tanishk Bagchi, Faheem Abdullah, and Arslan Nizami. The film has been produced by Akshaye Widhani, CEO of Yash Raj Films.
