
Actress Raveena Tandon’s son, Ranbir Thadani, has officially stepped into adulthood as he turned 18. Marking this special milestone, Raveena shared a touching post on Instagram, along with several nostalgic photos of Ranbir and his sister Rasha from their childhood.
In her heartfelt caption, Raveena wrote, “Welcome to Adulthood my son, Happy 18th. I love you, your my heart, My sunshine, my forever love. Proud of the Man you've become. Kind, compassionate, strong, caring. Mahadev walks with you (sic).”
Raveena didn’t hold back her emotions as she reflected on Ranbir’s journey so far. She added, “Thank you for choosing me for being your mum, you wise old soul @ranbirthadani.” Her warm words were filled with pride and affection, highlighting how close she is to her son as he begins this new chapter in life.
Raveena Tandon met film distributor Anil Thadani in 2003 during the shoot of her film Stumped. The two got engaged in November 2003 and tied the knot in February 2004 at Jag Mandir Palace in Udaipur, Rajasthan, in a traditional Punjabi Khatri and Sindhi ceremony. The couple welcomed their daughter Rasha in March 2005, followed by their son Ranbirvardhan (Ranbir) in July 2008.
On the professional front, Raveena recently celebrated a major Bollywood milestone—the 27th anniversary of the popular comedy film Dulhe Raja. She fondly recalled her experience working alongside Govinda and other veteran actors.
She shared her excitement in a post, writing, “27 years of Dulhe Raja!!!! Fun Fun and more Fun! Miss Harmeshji, Kader bhai and all @those who were there in this incredible film!”
Directed by Harmesh Malhotra and written by Rajeev Kaul, Dulhe Raja became a hit in the late '90s and is still remembered for its humor and iconic performances. The film starred a talented cast, including Kader Khan, Johnny Lever, Prem Chopra, Asrani, Viju Khote, Guddi Maruti, and others.
The plot revolves around Raja, a poor man who opens a fast-food stall right across from a luxurious five-star hotel owned by the wealthy Singhania. Despite all of Singhania’s efforts to drive him away, Raja holds his ground. The situation becomes more complicated when Singhania’s daughter Kiran falls in love with Raja and expresses her desire to marry him.
