In a stirring address to a vast assembly in Mandi, Poonch, Chairman of DPAP, Ghulam Nabi Azad, laid out a comprehensive vision for job creation and infrastructural advancement, while calling for peace and solidarity among the people of Jammu and Kashmir.

Azad, in his impassioned speech, decried divisive tactics employed by certain political entities, emphasizing the need for unity and integrity within communities. He pledged unwavering commitment to honesty and diligent work, asserting that his actions will consistently mirror his words.

The Chairman reiterated the paramount importance of maintaining communal harmony as a singular entity, urging citizens to resist the divisive influences propagated by external forces. He outlined plans to uplift the marginalized, including the establishment of additional educational institutions, roads, and districts to bolster the socio-economic fabric of the region. Strongly condemning recent acts of violence instigated by Pakistan, Azad underscored the imperative of collective efforts to combat terrorism and uphold peace in the region.

Addressing the youth directly, Azad implored them to harness their energies towards constructive endeavors that contribute to societal betterment. He stressed the significance of active engagement and community participation in fostering a culture of peace, harmony, and progress.

Azad lamented the lack of vocal opposition from other political leaders on the issue of Article 370, while highlighting DPAP’s steadfast efforts in opposing land eviction orders and safeguarding the land rights of the populace. He reassured the public of DPAP’s unwavering commitment to protecting land rights and ensuring job security if elected to power.

Promising relentless dedication to the welfare of the people, Azad pledged to reinstate the Roshni Scheme if his government is elected to power. He underscored the scheme’s pivotal role in addressing land ownership issues and fostering socio-economic development in the region.

The gathering also saw the presence of notable figures including Vice Chairman GM Saroori, General Secretary RS Chib, Chief Spokesperson Salman Nizami, among others, demonstrating widespread support for Azad’s vision for a prosperous and unified Jammu and Kashmir.
