The surgery, a left Total Hip Replacement, was performed at Yashoda Hospital in Hyderabad, with a team of experienced medical professionals ensuring stability throughout the procedure.
The incident occurred when Rao slipped and suffered a hairline fracture in his hip at his farmhouse in Siddipet district’s Erravalli village. His daughter, K Kavitha, confirmed that the surgery was successful, and he is currently in the recovery phase. Doctors anticipate a standard recovery period of 6-8 weeks. Well-wishes poured in from Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, both expressing hopes for Mr. Rao’s swift recovery.
