Anna Redman, an Influencer and former bachelor contestant faces criticism for posting Auschwitz outfit inspiration pictures, prior to her visit.
The said Instagram influencer, faces a huge criticism on social media. The post focused on each outfit of her which she posted prior to her trip, which people found disrespectful. People were dumbfounded and accused her of being “tone-deaf” , cause of her Auschwitz outfit inspiration post. Upon facing backlash, the post was deleted. According to people, it was rather concerning posting Auschwitz inspiration pictures despite the fact of 11 million people being murdered cause of the holocaust.
The post included the outfit inspirations she was going to wear for the trip, with a caption that said “The best packing hack. Is somebody going to match my freak?” People’s immediate notice was on her outfit for Auschwitz. The picture which she shared was across the memorial name, which was concerningly disrespectful according to poeple.
What was Internet’s reaction?
An individual stated “ when will people learn.” Adding to which another individual commented on her post “Posting outfit plans / inspo for Auschwitz, and even if it’s about your packing skills, adding text to the story saying “is somebody going to match my freak” is abhorrent. Maybe I’m old, but also, do people not dress respectfully at memorials? I get that it’s summer, but her planned outfit was a black mini dress? As expected, instead of apologizing, she just deleted the stories and is also deleting all the comments calling her out. After the backlash, the influencer deleted the controversial post and apologized for the pain and disrespect she caused. She acknowledged the heaviness of visiting Auschwitz and expressed her guilt for her said actions.
