Following the one-sided victory of AAP in neighbouring state Punjab, Haryana continues to witness a changing political scenario as several leaders from different parties including former MLA’s and cabinet ministers have joined the AAP. To strengthen its position in the state ahead of the assembly elections, the AAP leaders are leaving no stone unturned for the same. Besides, the main opposition party the Congress is going through a tough time as the feud among its stalwart leaders continues to surface inwardly and outwardly. All factions in the party are on toes prove dominance over each other which caused huge damage to party’s positions in the state and to some extent, the ruling faction the BJP.

Besides, in wake of AAP’s clean sweep, nobody can deny that more local leaders will be lined up to join the party. Amid the influx, AAP is working on its new strategy to build a strong organisational set-up with leaders from all sections of society. As a party of its strategy, AAP seems to be gaining political momentum in Haryana as former Haryana Congress president and Trinamool Congress leader Ashok Tanwar had joined AAP. In this series followed by former Congress leader Nirmal Singh congress stalwart and who was be close to Bhupender Singh Hooda earlier and was believed to be upset with the party as well as with him, and his daughter Chitra Sarwara had joined the AAP which is being considered a boost to the party’s expansion plans in Haryana. AAP has been trying to find a foothold in the state.

In view of the strengthening position of AAP, all parties are keeping a close eye on its minor activities. In continuation to aforesaid, a new political development surfaced in state as in wake of her dispute with Hooda’s faction, the state party president Kumari Seleja had proposed her resignation from the post which clearly indicated the widened rift among them increasing the troubles for the party to some extent. Thus, it is noticeable that the feud among the senior party leaders in Congress for political ambitions has been a trend.

To get political mileage, the AAP will conduct two political programes in Narwana assembly area of Jind district on 14 April 2022 on birth anniversary of Bhim Rao Ambedkar in presence of AAP supremo Arvind Kejriwal along with Ashok Tanwar, an entrant in the party. According to political experts, Kejriwal is also working in a plan to woo voters hailing from minor communities and the same is being considered a part of this plan AAP continues to put its best to establish its longevity in Haryana which added to the woes of other parties in the state to some extent.

Amid the new political developments, the BJP is making its best to strengthen its organisational set up as the meetings under the chairmanship of the state party president OP Dhankhar are being conducted with the party workers along with district presidents after regular intervals. While contrary to this, the main opposition party Congress has failed to make organisation appointments so far even after a period of around 8 years which caused a lot of harm to the party.
