With time, our preferences have evolved. We constantly search for unique interiors and themes, especially when looking for restaurants. Some people’s Instagram feeds are boosted by a location’s style alone. Here are five restaurants that will blow your mind with their strange themes if you’re sick of the same old hangouts and need visual stimulation while satisfying your taste buds.

RUNWAY 1

As you prepare to board a plane, it’s time to give wings to your food reveries! Yes, there is an actual aircraft enclosed by a spring inside this restaurant. At check-in, you are given a boarding pass with an adjustable cover price (over the food bill). Once inside, you can take advantage of the aircraft dining experience.

BHAIJAANZ

By now, you must have guessed the theme of the restaurant. Five friends from the same acting school opened the restaurant as a tribute to Salman Khan (Bhaijaan). On the menu are Jai Ho veg dishes, chulbul chawal, non-veg na bhool paoge, and, most wanted bread. The sweets say they are as sweet as “Prem.”

THE BLACK PEARL

The Black Pearl, which takes its name from the ship in Pirates of the Caribbean, has been paraded by pirates. This restaurant tries to fit in with the theme, starting with the drinks Captain Parrot, Pirates Fuel, the Live Pirate Grill, and the Pirates’ Kiss with a variety of seafood. This location in Marathahalli has a welcoming atmosphere thanks to the decor that incorporates movie props and characteristics.

GUFHA RESTAURANT

Would you like to dine underground? You’ll undoubtedly feel like you’re in a cave when you’re in the Gufha restaurant. Tilwale baby corn, cocktails, vegetable biryani, Hyderabadi achari baingan, chicken curry, paneer tikka, and rabri-ras malai are some of the favourites of foodies.

KAIDI KITCHEN

Do you know that the waiters at the Kaidi Kitchen are dressed as inmates or jailers? This restaurant claims to have had an arresting encounter in the Camac Street neighbourhood near Park Street. The restaurant is surrounded by bars resembling those in a jail, but the food is not as awful as that served to prisoners. This is a great location for fine dining and offers a variety of vegetarian recipes.
