According to authorities, a man and his kid were electrocuted to death in Tamil Nadu’s Tirunelveli district on Sunday.
According to the police, the event occurred late Saturday night when the two went to a canal in their farm in the Tirunelveli district, where they came into contact with an electric wire and died on the spot.
The residents discovered the dead floating on the surface of the river on Sunday morning, according to the police.
The bodies of the deceased, identified as Pachimuthu (55 years old) and his son Vanaraj (28), were recovered with the help of the Fire Service Department.
Meanwhile, the police have sent the bodies for post-mortem.
A probe is underway.
