After a clear peek at Deepika Padukone in the film’s OTT version, all the rumours regarding who will play Ranbir Kapoor’s mother Amrita in Ayan Mukerji’s “Brahmastra Part 2: Dev” were put to rest.

Brahmastra: Part One Shiva, which debuted on September 9 and began streaming on November 4, was released on September 9. Some theatregoers who saw Barhmastra Part I claimed to have seen Deepika in the picture. Others who watched it in 2D claimed that the actress was completely invisible.

But the OTT version put any confusion to rest. In one of the sequences, Deepika can be seen holding the infant Shiva in her arms. Just after intermission is when this scene appears.

Fans confirmed it is Deepika after watching the movie on Hotstar, and they swamped social media with their remarks.

Here is Deepika Padukone’s glimpse from Bhramastra part one – Shiva, according to one of the users.

Another tweet read, “Today, I watched Brahmastra for the second time. I hadn’t noticed Deepika Padukone before. But this time, it was so evident that she was there in the film! She has to be there in the second part too!”

“Deepika padukone in and as amritha in brahmastra eagerly waiting for dev part 2,” wrote another user.

The first work of Ayan Mukerji’s intended trilogy set in the Astraverse is titled Brahmastra Part One: Shiva. Amitabh Bachchan, Mouni Roy, and Nagarjuna Akkineni also appear in the movie. The plot of Brahmastra centres on Shiva, a DJ who discovers his peculiar connection to the element of fire. Additionally, he has the ability to unleash the Brahmastra, a supernatural weapon thought to be capable of wiping out the universe, all of creation, and every living thing. In contrast, Junoon, the ruler of evil forces, is likewise attempting to obtain the Brahmastra.

In the first part, Shah Rukh Khan appeared in a cameo. Ranveer Singh will appear in the sequel, if reports are to be believed.

It will be intriguing to observe how the Astraverse expands in “Brahmastra” and subsequent instalments.

The movie received favourable reviews from the audience and made over Rs 425 crore at the box office worldwide.
