In a significant development, the Cyber Crime Investigation Centre for Excellence (CICE) of the Crime Branch in Jammu and Kashmir sprang into action, apprehending a man masquerading as an Under Secretary posted with RajBhavan.
The accused, identified as Firdous Ahmad Wagay, hailing from Waskora, Ganderbal, Jammu & Kashmir, was nabbed by the diligent team of the Police Station CICE Jammu. Following due process, a case FIR 03/2024 was registered against him under relevant sections of the law.
During the operation, law enforcement officials confiscated a cache of incriminating materials, including counterfeit ID cards, seals, and various documents utilized in the commission of the crime.
