OFBJPUK hosts ‘Kavi Sammelan’ event in London

Overseas Friends of BJP in the United Kingdom (OFBJPUK) hosted a ‘Kavi Sammelan’ event on Sunday at the Radha Krishna Temple in Stratford, London, according to a press release.

The meticulously organized event was carried out by the committed members of the Uttar Pradesh and Haryana chapters of OFBJPUK. Its objective was to strengthen the BJP’s election campaign in India and to encourage NRIs to leverage their networks in support of the BJP.

The evening began with the auspicious ‘Deep Prajvalan’ ceremony followed by a warm felicitation of esteemed guests. Anand Arya, OFBJPUK’s Vice President, lauded the “exemplary governance” of the BJP government in his address. Suresh Mangalgiri, the General Secretary of OFBJPUK, discussed the transformative schemes implemented by the Modi government over the past decade. Additionally, OFBJP UK President Kuldeep Shekhawat conveyed his blessings from India, as per the release.

The Kavi Sammelan saw the involvement of celebrated Hindi poets from both the UK and India, contributing to the cultural richness of the event.

Under the skillful leadership of Sri Tejinder Sharma and the flawless hosting of Ashish Mishra, the audience enjoyed captivating performances by esteemed poets such as Chanda ji, Krunal Thakkar, Antara Tallam, Giriraj Joshi, Indu Barot, Astha Deo, Ashutosh Kumar, Manohar Gore, Anand Arya, Gyan Sharma, Ashish Mishra, and Tejinder Sharma. The event was graced by the presence of Shashi Patel, Darshn Grewal, and Dr. Davendra Chauhan.

In his vote of thanks, Gyan Sharma expressed sincere gratitude to all participants and attendees, concluding the evening on a note of appreciation. The event concluded with the distribution of ‘prasad’ to the participants.

The success of the event was attributed to the diligent efforts of members from OFBJPUK4UP and OFBJPUK-Haryana chapters, who dedicatedly planned and executed the event, as stated in the release.
