One high school student was murdered and three others hurt in a stabbing attack at a Nantes, western France private school on Thursday. The attacker, a 15-year-old, was overcome by teachers before police arrived at Notre-Dame-de-Toutes-Aides school, police said. The motive is not suspected to be terrorist-related.
Local news reported that the victim was a female student, although the police have yet to confirm. The attack reportedly occurred due to a disagreement among students, and the suspect had a history of depression.
The attacker was said to be wearing black, a helmet, and balaclava, and was discovered with two knives next to his personal items.
