The video depicts a man sleeping peacefully on a building crane, covered in a blanket, as the crane operator gently swings him aloft.
Reportedly drunk, the stunt of the man has raised a storm of reactions on social media, with people expressing both concern and amusement. Based on the Daily Mail, the bizarre incident happened at a building site in the village of Solovey-Klyuch in Russia’s Primorye region. Witnesses said the man was drunk then.
The video, which has since become common knowledge, has led to local prosecutors opening an investigation into the crane operator’s actions. The seeming carelessness of lifting heavy machinery with a person asleep on it has not been missed by authorities, as the clip remains a topic online.

Police were dispatched on a welfare check to the 400 block of Guadalupe Street, Fox 7 Austin reports. Someone had been seen hanging off a crane by a caller. Officers responding to the call cleared the area as a precaution.
