Know about 12 Jurors who are selected to participate in Donald Trump’s criminal trial

After three days of interrogation, a group of 12 New Yorkers has been selected to participate as jurors in Donald Trump’s first criminal trial related to hush money. The judge has directed that their identities be kept confidential throughout the proceedings.

These jurors were chosen from a large pool after vetting by both prosecution and defense teams. The trial centers on allegations linked to a $130,000 payment made by Trump’s former lawyer, Michael Cohen, to Stormy Daniels in 2016.

The New York Times provided insights into the jurors based on their statements in court:

Juror 1, residing in West Harlem and working in sales, enjoys outdoor pursuits and relies on sources like The New York Times, Fox News, and MSNBC for news. They have a neutral stance on Trump.

Juror 2, hailing from Hell’s Kitchen and employed in finance, is interested in outdoor activities and music. They follow figures like Michael D. Cohen on social media and appreciate some aspects of Trump’s presidency.

Juror 3, from Chelsea and working in the legal sector, reads publications like The New York Times and The Wall Street Journal occasionally. They have limited awareness of Trump’s legal troubles.

Juror 4, an engineer residing in the Upper West Side, expressed neutrality towards Trump.

Juror 5, working in education and from Harlem, avoids political discussions and has a limited interest in news. They admire Trump’s outspokenness.

Juror 6, residing in Chelsea and employed in technology, gathers news from various platforms. They believe they hold different views from Trump but acknowledge freedom of expression.

Juror 7, from the Upper East Side and employed in law, is familiar with Trump’s legal battles but has no firm opinion on his character.

Juror 8, from the Upper East Side and with a finance background, enjoys outdoor activities and keeps abreast of news through major publications. They declared impartiality during selection.

Juror 9, from the Upper East Side and involved in education, recognizes Trump’s presidency but maintains a neutral stance.

Juror 10, a businessman from Murray Hill, has limited news consumption but leans towards The New York Times. They have a neutral opinion of Trump.

Juror 11, a product manager in Upper Manhattan, has mixed feelings about Trump but dislikes his public persona.

Juror 12, working in healthcare and residing on the Upper East Side, enjoys outdoor activities and religious podcasts.
