Indian Diaspora in France Unites Against Pahalgam Terror Attack, Slams Pakistan

In a powerful show of unity and resilience, members of the Indian diaspora in France gathered near the Eiffel Tower to condemn the brutal terror attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, and to call out Pakistan for “harbouring and supporting terror activities.”

The mass protest, held on Sunday, saw over 300 participants coming together across regional, religious, and linguistic lines to stand against terrorism.

“If Pakistan Doesn’t Stop, It Will Face Consequences”

Speaking to ANI, a member of the diaspora warned Pakistan about the consequences of continuing to support terrorism.

“We don’t represent a religion or a political party. We just want to send out a message that every Indian is full of hatred towards Pakistan’s actions. If they don’t end terrorism, they will have to face consequences,” he said.

Highlighting previous attacks like Pulwama and 26/11, speakers made it clear that global patience for state-sponsored terrorism is running thin.

Unity in Diversity: A Message to the World

Rajaram Muniswamy, another participant, stressed the importance of showing India’s unity to the global community.

“From Kashmir to Tamil Nadu, people came together today against terrorism. We showed that India stands united and peace-loving despite provocations,” he said.

The protest, held from 3 PM to 4 PM (local time), was marked by emotional speeches, passionate slogans, and heartfelt tributes to the 26 victims who lost their lives during the April 22 attack near Baisaran Meadow, a popular tourist spot.

A Call for Global Action Against Terrorism

Protesters held banners urging the international community, including France, the European Union, and the United Nations, to take stronger action against countries like Pakistan that support and finance terrorism.

Organisers emphasized that this demonstration wasn’t just about the Pahalgam attack—it was a global call to stand against terrorism that threatens peace and stability everywhere.

The event concluded with a solemn moment of silence for the victims and a collective pledge to continue raising their voices against terror and injustice.
