GAIAE organises event on Zayed Humanitarian Day

Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, the Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence, attended an event commemorating Zayed Humanitarian Day. The event was organized by the General Authority of Islamic Affairs and Endowments (GAIAE) in collaboration with the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque Centre. Several scholars and guests of the UAE President, including Dr. Hamdan Musallam Al Mazrouei, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Emirates Red Crescent (ERC); Dr. Omar Habtoor Al Darei, Chairman of GAIAE; Mohammed Saeed Al Neyadi, Director-General of GAIAE; and Dr. Youssef Al Obaidli, Director General of Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque Centre, attended the event.

During the event, Muhammad Abd al-Rahman al-Duwaini, Undersecretary of Al-Azhar al-Sharif, who was among the scholars invited by the UAE President, delivered a speech titled “Sheikh Zayed and Al-Azhar.” He emphasized that Sheikh Zayed’s message continues through his successors and highlighted Sheikh Zayed’s wisdom, determination, and contributions to his nation and globally. Sheikh Zayed’s honorable global positions and contributions have earned him a distinguished place in the hearts and minds of people.

Several scholars also spoke about Sheikh Zayed’s international legacy across various fields during the event.
