The sea loves the land with a mournful grace,
Her waves reach out in a longing embrace.
She weeps in whispers, her sorrow profound,
Knowing their union will never be found.
The land stands steadfast, a silent plea,
Bound by his roots, he aches for the sea.
He hears her lament in the night’s gentle breeze,
Yet they’re trapped in this sorrow, unable to ease.
Their love›s a tragedy, tides and stone,
Forever apart, eternally alone
.
Close they may come with each rising tide,
Yet destiny keeps them on opposite sides.
The sea›s whispers are tales of despair,
The land, in his silence, can only stare.
A love so deep, it breaks their hearts,
Forever condemned to live apart.
So they cherish their fleeting, bittersweet dance,
Each touch a reminder of lost romance.
A timeless sorrow, a cruel design,
Of sea and land, forever confined.
