Anant Ambani is the younger son of Reliance Industries owner Mukesh Ambani and Nita Ambani, while Radhika Merchant is the daughter of pharma industry stalwarts Viren Merchant and Shaila Viren Merchant.

An unusual highlight of the wedding was the presence of the Ambani family’s pet dog, ‘Happy Ambani.’ This golden retriever gained fame for appearing in designer outfits at the wedding, with photos of Happy going viral. The dog enjoys a luxurious lifestyle, similar to that of the Ambani family.

Happy Ambani travels in a Mercedes-Benz G400D model car worth three crores, a topic of much discussion recently. Before riding in the Mercedes-Benz, Happy traveled in a 50 lakh Toyota Fortuner and a 1.5 crore Toyota Vellfire. The Mercedes-Benz G400D, which replaced the G350D, was introduced earlier this year. The SUV is powered by a 3.0-litre OM656, in-line 6-cylinder diesel engine, and is mated to a 9-speed automatic transmission, producing 330 PS and 700 Nm of peak torque.
