The One Piece manga by Eiichiro Oda went on a week-long break after publishing chapter 1161 on September 28th, skipping the Weekly Shonen Jump Issue 45. The One Piece manga chapter 1162 is now scheduled to be published in the Weekly Shonen Jump Issue 46, which will release on October 14th.
Eiichiro Oda's poor health also saw the One Piece anime go on a two-week-long break after the release of episode 1146 on September 29th. The One Piece episode 1146 will air on October 19, 2025, taking the popular anime series back to its usual programming.

The One Piece anime has been taking quite a lot of breaks in recent times. The official reasons stated for most of these breaks have been Oda's poor health.
