Emotional scenes unfolded at the Hajj House in Bemina on Thursday as the first batch of pilgrims arrived at the facility this morning, marking the commencement of their sacred journey.
Amid tearful farewells and heartfelt prayers, families bid adieu to their loved ones, who prepared to embark on the pilgrimage. The reporting time for the first batch of pilgrims was set for 8:30 AM, with the second batch scheduled to report at 11:30 AM.
Dr. Shujhat Qureshi, Executive Officer (EO) of J&K Haj Committee, disclosed that a total of 642 pilgrims are slated to depart from Srinagar International Airport. In two flights, comprising 322 pilgrims each, the first batch commenced their journey today.
The departure of these pilgrims marks the beginning of a profound spiritual experience for them and underscores the significance of the Hajj pilgrimage in Islam.
The atmosphere at the Hajj House was filled with a mixture of emotions as pilgrims, accompanied by their families, prepared to embark on this sacred journey, carrying with them prayers and hopes for a blessed and fulfilling pilgrimage.
