Actress Emily Blunt has offered insights into her marriage with actor-director John Krasinski, highlighting the significance of maintaining a strong connection despite their busy professional lives.

During the Los Angeles premiere of her latest film ‘The Fall Guy,’ Blunt emphasized the importance of consistent communication and spending quality time together to sustain their nearly 14-year marriage, according to People magazine. The couple tied the knot on July 10, 2010, at George Clooney’s estate in Lake Como, Italy.

Recognizing the difficulties of managing their hectic shooting schedules, Blunt underscored the importance of regularly checking in with each other and prioritizing their relationship. She affirmed that despite their celebrity status, they encounter similar challenges as any other couple.

Blunt and Krasinski’s romance began when they met through a mutual acquaintance in 2008, culminating in their engagement in August 2009. The couple is proud parents to two daughters, Hazel, aged 10, and Violet, aged 7. Leveraging her husband’s insights as a director, Blunt drew inspiration for her portrayal of director Jody Moreno in ‘The Fall Guy.’

According to People magazine, Blunt expressed her gratitude for portraying a layered director character in ‘The Fall Guy,’ navigating the intricacies of filmmaking. In the movie, she stars opposite Ryan Gosling, where her character, Moreno, reunites with former flame Colt Seavers, portrayed by Gosling, to confront the hurdles of producing a blockbuster sci-fi Western.

As the story progresses, Seavers becomes embroiled in a compelling off-screen conflict. Directed by David Leitch and adapted by Drew Pearce from the 1980s TV series, ‘The Fall Guy’ guarantees an adrenaline-fueled cinematic adventure. Blunt’s depiction of Moreno enriches the storyline, providing viewers with a captivating insight into the filmmaking realm. The film is scheduled for release in theaters on May 3.
