In a recent development, a man’s claim of a past romantic relationship with a dolphin has captivated public interest. Malcolm, now a retired pensioner, has shocked many by revealing that he fell in love with a dolphin named Dolly during his youth. He disclosed that he was on the verge of ending his life when they were separated, following Dolly’s death. Malcolm, who had a 9-month-long relationship with Dolly in the 1970s, struggled with depression for five years after her passing.

Malcolm, a passionate photographer at the time, began his unusual relationship with Dolly while working at a theme park in Sarasota, Florida. He had access to the dolphin and developed a close bond through their swimming sessions. Malcolm admitted that, despite initially being disinterested, he eventually questioned whether he would have made the same arguments and excuses if Dolly were a woman.

He described the experience as “supernatural,” stating that after the park closed and he was relocated, he fell into a deep depression that lasted for five years. Malcolm has also authored a novel, *Wet Goddess*, which he reveals is autobiographical and inspired by his own experiences. The book tells the story of a young man who forms a bond with a dolphin while working at a theme park and is dedicated to highlighting the mistreatment of dolphins in captivity.
