UPSC Civil Services Main Exam 2024: Schedule Out on Website upsc.gov.in, Check Timings Here

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has announced the schedule for the Civil Services Main Exam 2024. The examination will take place on September 20, 21, 22, 28, and 29, 2024. The exam will be conducted in two shifts each day: the first shift will run from 9 am to 12 noon, and the second shift will be from 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm.

On September 20, the Essay Paper will be held. The General Studies I and II papers are scheduled for September 21, while General Studies III and IV will be conducted on September 22. The Indian Language and English papers are set for September 28, and the Optional Subject Paper 1 and 2 will take place on September 29.

Candidates can view and download the full timetable by visiting the UPSC official website at upsc.gov.in. A PDF file will open with the detailed schedule, which can be downloaded and printed for future reference.

The results of the UPSC Prelims, which were announced on July 1, 2024, and the roll number-wise results released on July 20, 2024, determine the candidates eligible for the Mains examination. This year’s recruitment aims to fill 1,056 vacancies in central government services, including positions in the Indian Administrative Service (IAS), Indian Police Service (IPS), and Indian Foreign Service (IFS).
