UPSC Civil Services Main Exam 2024: Schedule Out on Website upsc.gov.in, Check Timings Here

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has announced the schedule for the Civil Services Main Exam 2024. The examination will take place on September 20, 21, 22, 28, and 29, 2024. The exam will be conducted in two shifts each day: the first shift will run from 9 am to 12 noon, and the second shift will be from 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm.

On September 20, the Essay Paper will be held. The General Studies I and II papers are scheduled for September 21, while General Studies III and IV will be conducted on September 22. The Indian Language and English papers are set for September 28, and the Optional Subject Paper 1 and 2 will take place on September 29.

This year’s recruitment aims to fill 1,056 vacancies in central government services, including positions in the Indian Administrative Service (IAS), Indian Police Service (IPS), and Indian Foreign Service (IFS).
