The results of the Common University Entrance Test (CUET-UG) are yet to be announced, and students frustrated by the wait have turned to the National Testing Agency (NTA) hotline for assistance.
The CUET-UG is the major entrance test for undergraduate programs at 46 Central Universities, including the highly sought-after Delhi University. The delayed findings will have an impact on all participating universities’ admission timetables.
This year’s tests were held online and on paper from May 15 to May 31, with a retake scheduled for July 19. Because to the delay, the future of more than 13 lakh pupils is uncertain. Many CUET students have resorted to social media to protest about the NTA’s delay in issuing results.
Yesterday, one test taker called the NTA helpdesk to inquire about the timing for results. They posted about their experience on Reddit, stating they were impressed by the professional who answered the phone but did not receive a clear response.
“Genuinely impressed by the representatives… answered the call quickly and also replied with composure,” the student wrote. The person noted at least twice that the admission card links had been deleted from the website, implying that the results will be posted soon.
When the student inquired whether they might anticipate the results this week, the NTA official advised them to “wait and see.”
