NEET UG 2024 Revised Scorecard Out Along With Final Answer Key : Click Here To Download

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the revised NEET UG 2024 scorecard today, July 26, 2024, in response to a Supreme Court directive. This revision was necessary due to an unclear Physics question, which led to an adjustment in the NEET UG merit list.

Following the Supreme Court’s order on July 23, 2024, Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan announced that the revised results would be published within two days. Candidates can now access their updated results and download the revised scorecard from the official website.

To download the NEET UG Revised Scorecard 2024, follow these steps:

  1. Go to the official NTA website at exams.nta.ac.in/NEET.
  2. Click on the “NEET UG Revised Scorecard 2024” link.
  3. Enter your login credentials and submit.
  4. View and download the revised scorecard for your records.

Initially, the results released on June 4 showed 67 students sharing the top rank. However, the Supreme Court, following recommendations from an IIT-Delhi expert committee, has mandated that only one correct answer be accepted for the disputed Physics question.

The revised scorecard will affect approximately 4.2 lakh students who selected the previously accepted answer. Consequently, the number of top scorers is expected to decrease from 61 (after the NTA’s withdrawal of grace marks) to around 17.

NEET UG Revised Scorecard 2024: Counselling Process

After the release of the revised scorecard, the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) will begin the registration process for NEET-UG counselling. This process is crucial for admission to MBBS and BDS programs across India. During registration, candidates will choose their preferred colleges and courses during the choice-filing stage.

Supreme Court Directive on NEET UG Revised Scorecard 2024

On July 23, the Supreme Court directed the NTA to revise the scores, leading to the release of the NEET UG Revised Scorecard 2024. The court confirmed the NEET UG 2024 paper leaks in Patna and Hazaribagh and instructed the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) to continue investigating these leaks. Despite these issues, the court has allowed counselling and admissions to proceed as scheduled and called for new guidelines to prevent similar problems in the future. Additionally, the NTA must update the NEET UG merit list to reflect the answer recommended by the IIT-Delhi expert panel for the disputed Physics question.
