The Meghalaya government plans to incorporate QR codes into school textbooks, enabling students to utilize smartphones for accessing extra information, revealed a senior official on Wednesday. Education Secretary A Marak explained that this initiative seeks to improve students’ time management abilities and provide them with additional learning opportunities.
“We are introducing quick response (QR) codes in school textbooks that will contain supplementary information related to specific subjects. The objective is to strengthen students’ time management skills and facilitate additional learning based on individual preferences,” Marak stated.
