CBSE Declares Class 12 Results 2025: Girls Lead with 91.64% Pass Percentage

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released the Class 12 results of 2025 officially. As students anxiously wait for their marks, the board has revealed important information about how to find the results and the changes in post-result operations. Students can soon check their marks on the official CBSE website (cbse.gov.in) using their roll numbers, school numbers, admit card IDs, and date of birth.

Girls Top Boys in Pass Percentage

In a significant trend, girls have surpassed boys in Class 12 board exams. The girls’ pass percentage is at a whopping 91.64%, while the boys’ pass percentage was at 85.70%. This is a disparity of 5.94 percentage points in the girls’ favor, further affirming the continuous trend of higher academic performance of female students. Transgender candidates have also passed with a whooping 100% pass percentage, reflecting the openness of the examination system.

Foreign School Alliance Students Score Well

For foreign school students, this year has witnessed 21,825 students enrolling for the CBSE Class 12 board exam. Out of these, 21,782 students took the exam, and 20,694 students passed the exam. This gives a remarkable pass percentage of 95.01% for foreign school students, further highlighting the board’s global presence and its resolve to provide quality education.

Delhi Region Student Performance

The Delhi region recorded sound academic performance during the Class 12 exams. 308,105 students enrolled from Delhi out of which 306,733 appeared for the exams. 291,962 students passed with a pass percentage of 95.18%, reflecting the high performance in the region.

Delhi East students also recorded very good performances. Out of 180,162 registered students, 179,422 came for the test, and 170,551 students passed and the pass percentage stood at 95.06%. The region’s consistent scholastic success has placed it in the lead-performing zone once again.

New Post-Result Activities: Photocopy and Re-Valuation Process

CBSE has made innovations to its post-result activities this year. Students are now able to get photocopies of their answer sheets prior to applying for verification or re-evaluation. Under the earlier system, students first applied for marks verification, and then they got answer sheet photocopies, followed by re-evaluation.

In the new process, CBSE explained, “A candidate on getting photocopy of marked answer book in the first step can choose if he/she wants Verification of marks that involves posting/totaling of marks or any unmarked questions or Re-evaluation whereby the candidate asks for re-evaluation of a question or questions thereof.”

This helps the students to know their performance better before asking for further action.

How to Check CBSE Class 12 Results

Students can check their results on the official websites: cbse.gov.in, cbseresults.nic.in, and results.cbse.nic.in. Once the results are announced, students will be able to log in using roll numbers, school numbers, and admit card IDs.
