The Investigative agency Enforcement Directorate (ED) will file a first chargesheet against Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal in Delhi’s liquor policy case tomorrow.

This means Kejriwal is now an accused in the scrapped liquor policy case.

Under this chargesheet, ED will be most likely to refer kejriwal a ‘kingpin’ and a key conspirator in liquor policy case.

Further, the agency has also alleged that it has established the money trail to kejriwal.

This move comes around the time, when supreme court will hear Arvind Kejriwal plea related to the grant of interim bail.

As announced by the presiding judge Justice Sanjiv Khanna, the order regarding the matter will be pronounced on Friday.

“We will pronounce the interim order (on interim bail) on Friday. The main matter related to the challenge to arrest will also be taken on the same day said Justice Sanjiv Khanna.

However, the petitioner Arvind Kejriwal failed didn’t get any relief from the apex court.

The bench stated that if Arvind Kejriwal were to be released on interim bail, he won’t conduct his official duties, as it will create a conflict of interest.

Arvind kejriwal got arrested by ED on March 21 and is currently lodged in Tihar Jail. While seeking his custody, ED declared that kejriwal a ‘ key conspirator’ in Liquor gate scandal.
