The British singer Ed Sheeran is scheduled to perform in India once more.
The “Shape of You” singer will visit the nation in 2024 as part of his Asia and Europe Tour with his “+ – = / x” tour.
According to a statement released by BookmyShow Live, Sheeran’s performance will take place on March 16, 2024, at the Mahalaxmi Racecourse in Mumbai. It’s interesting to note that Calum Scott will attend the performance.
Sheeran’s return to Mumbai comes six years after his acclaimed Divide Tour from 2017.
Alone this year, Sheeran released two albums, ‘-‘ (Subtract) and Autumn Variations. Released to critical acclaim in May and September respectively, Sheeran worked with The National’s Aaron Dessner on both LPs. Sheeran’s two-hour + – = / x Tour will draw from all of his albums since 2011 – “Plus,” “Multiply” (2014), “Divide” (2017), “Equals” (2021) and the new “Subtract,” and also includes a song from 2019’s “No. 6 Collaborations Project” (“Blow”).
In 2015, Sheeran gave his first performance in India. Despite being hurt, he made a second appearance in November 2017 for a performance at Jio World Garden in Bandra Kurla Complex.
He was also seen having a good time with Bollywood celebrities Malaika Arora, Shah Rukh Khan, Shahid Kapoor, and his wife Mira at the much-publicized party that filmmaker Farah Khan organized for the ‘Shape of You’ hitmaker.
